Have you ever felt like your website traffic just hits a brick wall? We recently went through that with one of our partners and clients, Shopify, a fantastic e-commerce platform that enables individuals to create online stores, manage sales, and process payments easily. Despite putting in the work—creating tons of content and implementing our best strategies—things just weren’t moving.
So, we decided to dig in and see what was going on. Here’s how we turned things around.
Our Journey with Shopify
When we first teamed up with Shopify back in 2020, we launched a sleek new website packed with compelling messaging and a great user experience. But then, just as we were getting excited about the launch, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Jeez! Talk about bad timing!
Traffic took a nosedive, and leads were even scarcer. With businesses focused on survival, investing in new Shopify solutions wasn’t exactly a priority. By 2021, we observed that things weren’t looking any better, and we knew we needed to rethink our strategy.
Uncovering the Issues
We kicked off another brutally honest and comprehensive review, where we scrutinized everything we’d been doing. We’re our own toughest critics, and we found a big issue: our content wasn’t performing like we hoped.
Usually, content is where we shine, but the data was telling a different story, a different plot. The silver lining? We love rolling up our sleeves, identifying gaps or problems needed for improvement, and converting it into great progress. With the problem identified, we were ready to take action.
Our Game Plan
It was clear our usual tactics weren’t cutting it, but we needed to figure out what wasn’t working. Growth marketing is all about taking risks; not every idea is a winner right away. But the beauty of data is that it can serve as a baseline and guide you toward success.
After diving into Shopify’s content, we identified 4 KEY STEPS to revamp our approach:
1. Targeting Key Conversion Pages
Even though our existing content wasn’t hitting home runs, we knew we couldn’t stop creating. We still valued both consistency and quality since fresh content is vital for engaging both visitors and search engines.
So, we focused on crafting new content designed to direct visitors to high-performing conversion pages—like their interactive build-and-price tool and demo options. This way, potential customers could explore what Shopify offers and see if it fits their needs.
2. Revamping CTAs
Next, we took a hard look at Shopify’s calls to action (CTAs). We ran A/B tests to find out what worked best—comparing different types, placements, and tools.
What did we discover? Static footer CTAs on blog posts were the leading men of the game! So, we added those across all posts, gently guiding engaged readers to the next steps in their buyer journey.
3. Introducing a Buyer’s Guide
We also realized we needed something for visitors who weren’t quite ready to commit. Enter the Buyer’s Guide!
This guide provides essential insights for business owners on choosing a Shopify solution, covering everything from software to hardware. By offering this resource early on, we could capture leads and nurture them toward making a purchase.
If you’re interested in having your own Buyer’s Guide, here is a FREE template to use below. Tweak it to your liking!
Access the template here.
4. Refreshing Existing Blog Content
Finally, we tackled Shopify’s existing blog posts. Many hadn’t aged well since their launch, so we had some work and comprehensive revamping to do.
At EPIC, we believe in creating a "content city" rather than a "content graveyard." We updated outdated info, enriched thin content, and optimized for relevant keywords. This revitalized old posts and ensured they delivered real value.
The Results
Here’s how our efforts paid off:
Organic Leads: 2,146 (2021) to 3,199 (2022) — +49%
Web Prospects: 1,071 (2021) to 1,196 (2022) — +11.7%
Digitally-Attributed Customers: 357 (2021) to 455 (2022) — +27.4%
Total Web Traffic: 252,393 (2021) to 290,365 (2022) — +25%
Organic Web Traffic: 41,399 (2021) to 94,832 (2022) — +129%
Key Takeaways
Working with Shopify showed us just how powerful iteration and content optimization can be. By taking a data-driven approach, we identified key issues, created effective CTAs, and launched the Buyer’s Guide—resulting in that impressive 50% increase in organic leads.
Moving forward, we’ll keep monitoring content performance and refreshing as needed to ensure it stays relevant and valuable. By experimenting with new strategies and staying in tune with the data, we’re excited to continue driving high-quality traffic and generating leads for Shopify and brands that you truly trust!
Have you ever landed on a pricing page only to see, "Call for pricing"? Annoying, right? It’s the kind of irritating, pop-up ad that can send potential customers running in the opposite direction. Surprisingly, a lot of B2B companies still rely on this outdated approach, creating unnecessary roadblocks in the customer journey.

So, Why Focus on the Customer Journey? Here Are 6 TOP Reasons
1. Happier Customers, Happier Business
When you put your customers first, they feel it. They’re more satisfied, more likely to stick around, and way less likely to churn. Plus, the more you actively listen to and improve their experience, the better their journey gets—and the more loyal they become. Once you get to prioritize your customers rather than your own needs, then everything else will fall into place.
2. Boost in Revenue
A smooth customer journey naturally leads to more conversions. But that’s not all—you also create more opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. And when your whole team is aligned around a customer-first mindset, fewer leads slip through the cracks. The result? More revenue.
3. Don’t take it personally
No matter what, you can't avoid some customers that will eventually leave or turn your back on you. But when you focus on understanding why they’re leaving and fixing those pain points, you can keep more of them around. This approach also saves you money on acquiring new customers because your existing ones stick around longer.
4. More Referrals
Happy customers love to share their positive experiences with others. But are you making it easy for them to do that? A simple referral program can turn word-of-mouth into a steady stream of new business.
5. Competitive Edge
When you prioritize the customer over just closing the sale, you automatically stand out from competitors. If your competition is making it hard for people to buy—or hiding key information—you win by being transparent and easy to work with.
6. Better Understanding of Customer Needs
Mapping out your customer journey gives you insights into what your customers actually want and need. Armed with that knowledge, you can tailor your products, services, and messaging to meet their expectations, earning their trust and building your authority in the market.
---
Step One: Map Out Your Customer Journey
Before you can optimize, you need to know where you’re starting. So, what does your customer journey look like? Here’s a quick rundown of the typical stages:
Awareness: This is the first time potential customers hear about you. Your job is to grab their attention with relevant, valuable content and a user-friendly experience.
Consideration: Now that you’ve got their attention, it’s time to nurture those visitors, turning them into qualified leads by offering content that answers their questions and moves them closer to a purchase.
Purchase: When they’re ready to buy, make it as easy as possible. Clear pricing, strong messaging, and a simple purchasing process make all the difference.
Retention: Once someone buys from you, the journey doesn’t end. Excellent onboarding and customer support help you turn one-time buyers into repeat customers.
Reputation: Consistently deliver results, and your customers will become your best promoters. Your reputation builds itself when you solve problems and create happy customers.

“It was through Epic RevOps that we were able to hit the 6-figure mark in a struggling company and build out a massive sales team filled with efficient closers.” - Moran Pober
MEET MORAN
We used to believe that successful entrepreneurs were born, not made. But as we met Moran and continued to join forces with him, we knew that it was the other WAY around.
Moran Prober was a former military soldier who left the army to conquer the business world and to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur. He eventually went on to build an empire from mergers and acquisition transactions. He has then bought and sold 7-figure businesses all over the world and, in the long run, founded his company called Acquisitions.
WHY DID MORAN CHOSE US?
When Moran first reached out to us, he was feeling overwhelmed and stressed. He was earning between $30k and $50k a month—decent money, right? But he felt like he was running in circles, full of potential but lacking a clear direction and the systems to grow his business effectively. His teams were working independently on their own; there was a lack of data visibility and true analytics; their strategy was very reliant on ads; they continuously received low conversions and minimal growth; and they unconsciously created growth issues that prevented them from scaling in a simple and profitable way. It was like being on a treadmill—working hard but not really getting anywhere.
After diving into our program and implementing our proven systems and funnels, everything began to shift. For many, hitting a 7-figure run rate would be a dream come true, but for Moran, it was just the beginning of a thrilling new adventure.
I’ll never forget the moment he said, “I don’t even know what to do with all the free time I have now.” Can you imagine that feeling? Earning tens of thousands a month while having the freedom to explore your passions because your business runs in an optimized, smooth-running process? It’s a game-changer!
The Process: HOW MORAN PROBER INCREASED CONVERSIONS BY UPTO 300%
Once Moran joined the Epic RevOps program, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Together, we quickly identified their top priority: creating a powerful client acquisition machine. With their offer closely aligned to ours, we knew there was a strong product-market fit, but they needed help getting their message out into the world.
Using our successful multi-million-dollar sales funnel as a foundation, we crafted a customized funnel that highlighted what made Moran’s offer unique. Within just days of launching, they were booking appointments for only $25 for a $7,500+ offer! Can you believe that?
Of course, the journey had its bumps. After launching the funnel, we scheduled another one-on-one session to fine-tune the sales process and maximize profitability. By increasing their curation percentages and simplifying the opt-in page, we doubled their conversion rates. We also developed sales assets that significantly boosted Moran’s closing rates.
As appointment bookings surged, we guided them in scaling their sales team. Within a week of our call, they welcomed four new sales reps, ready to tackle the flood of new leads! It was so exciting to see their hard work and perseverance pay off.
THE EPIC RESULTS
Fast forward just a couple of months, and Moran’s company was thriving, achieving an astonishing $200,000+ run rate with over 40% profit margins. But they didn’t stop there; they’re now ramping up traffic to the same sales letter while expanding their sales team and backend offers, setting their sights on a $500,000/month milestone!
Can you imagine the feeling of watching your dreams come to life like that? It’s exhilarating!
In the end, our experience with Moran was more than just about delivering results; it was about building a genuine partnership. His success story stands as a testament to our commitment to executing projects effectively and on time. With our strengthened relationship and newfound expertise, we are excited to continue helping our clients thrive and achieve their own incredible success.

MEET JEFF
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree—and we mean this the good way. Jeff Sekinger’s journey into the world of finance began when he was really young, influenced by the world of entrepreneurship by both of his parents, who are also entrepreneurs. As he grew up, he eventually yearned to love finance and investing and also incorporated the values of hard work and financial wit that his parents taught him. After earning a degree in finance from the University of Kentucky, Jeff started his career in private wealth management. However, he quickly realized that the traditional corporate path wasn’t for him. Driven by a desire for freedom and the ability to make a real impact by leveraging today's technology, he took a leap of faith and launched his own business, 0 percent, helping over 1,000 clients achieve financial independence through strategic credit use and financial education.
HOW THE JOURNEY OF TENACITY AND TRUSTED PARTNERSHIP TRANSFORMED JEFF’S BUSINESS TO EPIC HEIGHTS
Picture this out: Jeff, a dedicated entrepreneur who went on to become a multimillionaire in 4 short years. He had already built a successful business in the credit and funding space, running a 7-figure operation primarily through referrals. But despite his achievements, he felt stuck and had that longing desire to achieve MORE. He was working tirelessly, yet his growth was stagnant, and he longed for something more—faster growth and greater profits.
It was a familiar feeling for many of us: the frustration of not feeling enough, pouring your heart and soul into your work, only to feel like you're running in place. That’s when Jeff decided to reach out to us at Epic RevOps Solutions, ready to break free from his limitations and take his business to an even greater level, making him achieve hundreds of loyal subscribers and a successful launch that almost reached $1M. .
BEHIND-THE-SCENES
During our onboarding call, we got to know Jeff beyond the numbers. We listened to his struggles and aspirations, and together we crafted a clear roadmap to help him reach $1M+/month with 50%+ profit margins. But with every desired result comes the process of knowing what’s not ticking.
I can’t deny it. He actually had a talented sales team, but we discovered that there were some gaps that made them struggle to reach their full potential. We knew there was a better way to harness their skills, so we introduced the setter-closer model. This shift allowed his team to focus on different verticals and product offerings, creating a more cohesive and effective sales strategy. It was exciting to see how this change energized the team, giving them clarity and purpose in their roles.
Next, we turned our attention to optimizing Jeff’s existing offer. We took the best elements of what he had and combined them with a new coaching program that truly resonated with people. This wasn’t just about making sales or gaining his desired revenue; it was about crafting something meaningful that could genuinely make a difference in the lives of his clients. I remember the conversations we had, brainstorming ideas and refining the message until it felt just right.
Then came the moment of truth. With a mix of excitement and a touch of nervous energy, Jeff launched this irresistible offer to his Instagram audience. The anticipation was palpable, and when the results started rolling in, it was nothing short of astonishing. In just a few days, he raked in an incredible $967,000! Can you imagine the thrill and disbelief he felt as he watched his email list go way up and his hard work pay off so spectacularly? It was a testament to the power of believing in your vision and taking bold steps toward it.
But we didn’t stop there. We had to ensure that his success was long-lasting. We then rolled up our sleeves and set about building a robust sales machine. We started with a targeted sales funnel and implemented smart paid ads to drive traffic. After fine-tuning the funnel, copy, and messaging, we were thrilled to see Jeff achieve an incredible 10X return on ad spend within just a week. It was a whirlwind of activity, but every late night and early morning was worth it when we saw the results.
THE CHAMPAGNE OF SUCCESS
Fast forward in just two months, and Jeff’s business had transformed. He had created an irresistible offer, welcomed 125 new clients, and built a profitable client acquisition system that turned $1,000 into $29,400 every few days, with the help of our top-tier RevOps Solutions, Certified Done-For-You Packages, and the epic collaboration that we made as a team.

Onboarding isn’t something you rush. It typically takes between 6 weeks and 3 months, depending on how complex your setup is. Here’s what it usually looks like:
Initial Setup (1-2 weeks): This is where you’ll do things like basic account setup and get your team familiar with HubSpot.
Full Implementation (4-6 weeks): This is the bulk of the work – integrating your systems, customizing features, and training your team.
Ongoing Optimization: Even after you’re set up, there will be continuous tweaks and improvements as your business grows.
Step 5: Plan Your Budget
Costs can vary depending on how big your business is and what kind of help you need. If you go with HubSpot’s direct onboarding, expect to pay around $3,000 for the Professional plan and $7,000 for the Enterprise plan. If you choose a HubSpot partner, costs start around $3,000 for collaborative setups and can go up to $15,000 or more for a full-service setup.
Example HubSpot Onboarding Plan (Based on Lean Labs Approach):
Phase 1: Initial Assessment (1 week) – Define your goals, audit the platform, and map out integrations.
Phase 2: Data Setup (2 weeks) – Import contacts, set up stages, and build your forms.
Phase 3: Process Automation (2 weeks) – Create custom workflows and email templates.
Phase 4: Training & Success Planning (1 week) – Make sure your team is comfortable with the platform and set up for long-term success.
Lessons to learn
Onboarding might seem like a lot, but it’s what sets you up for success with HubSpot. Whether you do it with HubSpot directly or with a partner, a well-planned onboarding process ensures you’re getting the most out of your investment. Netsuite vs. HubSpot: The Verdict and the Nutshell
Netsuite is packed with features and deeper integrations, but it’s also more expensive and can take a while to get the hang of. HubSpot, on the other hand, is more affordable and easy to use—perfect for small businesses or those just starting out. However, as your business grows, HubSpot can get pricier, especially if you need advanced tools.
The choice really comes down to your business needs. If you need an all-in-one tool for both operations and customer relationships, Netsuite might be worth the investment. But if you’re looking for something simple, scalable, and focused on customer experience, HubSpot could be the way to go.

Now, here is a bad or goody news for you. We don’t offer Netsuite services so feel free to look up to other companies who offer that.
However, if you’d chosen the latter, then you've come to the right place. We’re a certified, award-winning team that offers a variety of HubSpot services including onboarding, integrations, and many more!
(See our HubSpot Accelerator Service Page for more info.)
Unlike other growth agencies, we’re all set in helping you make HubSpot your best pal, whether you’re a startup or already an established company.
